If lawmakers don't take casino tax revenue away from Harrison County and other riverboat communities this year, they will do so in the future, a key budget writer said yesterday.
"This has been discussed behind the scenes for years. We need to get it out in the open," said House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jeff Espich, R-Uniondale. "This issue is not going to go away."
